Through a collaborative design process with local partners our AT2030 programme has enabled UK based start-up Koalaa to adapt its soft prosthetic for upper limb users in Sierra Leone. Shaping a business and distribution model and for use across the African continent, Koalaa have been able to secure further investment to reach new markets with an affordable and streamlined solution.
Sharing the challenges, learnings and mechanism used to accelerate ventures entering and scaling in new markets across Africa, this resource has been designed to help fund operators and ventures learn from practical experiences of new markets engagement, with insights from the ventures, teams and experts on the ground.
