We develop vehicles for venture acceleration while building and incubating home-grown talent. Our innovation arm GDI Accelerate provides scaling mechanisms and a safe space for start-ups to rapidly explore new concepts. Our work on local production and repair enhances AT provision systems, and prolongs product life cycles.

Building innovation ecosystems and regional insights to amplify new ideas into market-ready solutions, Attvaran is supporting emerging entrepreneurs, forging new interactions, innovation and business opportunities. Alongside IIT Delhi and IIT Madras we are addressing the need for assistive technologies in underserved communities.
Localised product and service innovation has the potential to complement global supply chains to unlock more sustainable and resilient AT ecosystems. By creating better connections between the AT community and local manufacturers, local innovation could unlock the current gaps in service and repair, and reduce high abandonment rates of AT in low resource settings.
Winner of the Innovation of the Year at the 2023 Engineering Talent Awards - Tacilla is challenging the complexity of refreshable displays by reducing the number of components required to actuate a pin array by using a single sheet of Nitinol. Designed to quickly provide tactile information over a large surface area, GDI Hub’s Tigmanshu Bhatnagar is developing this open-source technology.
