Felipe Ramos Barajas
Senior Programme Manager for AT2030
As Senior Programme Manager, Felipe oversees Cluster 1: Data & Evidence and Cluster 2: Innovation of the AT2030 Programme. Under the vision of the Academic Director, Felipe coordinates an interdisciplinary group of researchers working to improve data and evidence to enable better decision making and unlock investment into AT. Felipe also leads research on Migration, Disability, and Assistive Technology for the Humanitarian Research strand of the Programme. Under the Innovation Cluster, Felipe works with a large group of stakeholders including programme partners, governments, innovators and entrepreneurs to spark innovation and support new products and service delivery models to scale to facilitate access to AT. A lot of this work happens in Kenya and the larger East Africa region.
Felipe brings more than ten years of experience in the areas of project management, disability, and employment having worked on assistive technology policy for the World Health Organization and disability & employment policy at the International Labour Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. He has also worked as a consultant for the Council of Europe Development Bank in Paris, France and as Economic Opportunities—Digital Skills, Employment and Disability—Program Manager issues at the Organization of American States in Washington, D.C.
Felipe holds a Master in Public Affairs, Social Public Policy and Social Innovation from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) in France and a BA in Economics.
