Research and knowledge building to inform Disability Innovation
At GDI Hub, we lead research to drive disability innovation. From inclusive design to assistive tech, our work builds evidence, shapes policy, and creates impact. We collaborate with disabled people, researchers, and industry to turn knowledge into action.
Building stronger data systems to inform policy, guide investment, and improve access to assistive technology through collaborative research and innovation.
The GDI Hub has produced hundreds of open-access publications to advance disability innovation globally. These publications explore a wide range of topics, including assistive technology, inclusive design, and policy. By sharing knowledge openly, we support inclusive innovation and empower global change-makers.
To further develop our research, the Global Disability Innovation (GDI) Hub has partnered with UCL and other academic institutions to offer interdisciplinary PhD projects that develop novel assistive technologies, advancing disability innovation.
